Which is what I say when I'm told to put databases under the same = directory as the Oracle software, as OFA wants. Not gonna happen. No = one messes with "/oracle" unless it's to add space to one of the MPs = below it. Sometimes admins can mess with $ORACLE_BASE or $ORACLE_HOME = (e.g. the dumps in the CDUMP dirs start adding up).

Other than that, we use OFA almost to a tee. Almost... :)
