iozone Solaris8-64-VXFS compilation error

I am trying to compile the latest version of iozone for Solaris8/VxFS for benchmarking, but I'm not having much success. I am using Sun's compiler and getting the error below:  

Building iozone for Solaris8-64-VXFS
cc -fast -xtarget=generic64 -v -c -I/opt/VRTSvxfs/include/ -Dunix \

-DVXFS -DHAVE_ANSIC_C -DASYNC_IO \
-D__LP64__ -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 \
-DNAME='"Solaris8-64"' -Dsolaris -DHAVE_PREAD \
        iozone.c -o iozone_solaris8-64.o compiler(iropt) error: unmatched succ and last triple in b[31] cc: iropt failed for iozone.c
*** Error code 2
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `iozone_solaris8-64-VXFS.o'  

I know there are others on the list having used iozone. Have you seen the error above? If so, any idea what I'm missing and should be looking at?
