Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Was changing ORACLE_HOME - now non-default ORACLE_HOME
Paula - I usually create an env script for each db that sets it OH to
what is found in the oratab. Install a new OH, shutdown db, copy
init.ora, etc. to new OH, set env to new OH, start db. Now this assumes
same OH version.

Basically it looks like there is no way to change the directories of an
=
existing ORACLE_HOME.
So, if I use a different ORACLE_HOME - like ORACLE_HOME2 and that = becomes my default do I care?
Are there any implications to that?
