Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE:Anyway to move ORACLE_HOME
Guys,
I want to move an ORACLE_HOME (9.2.0.5 on Solaris 64-bit which was/is a = nightmare) to another directory. Then use the current directory to = install a 9.2.0.4 version. I have users working on the mucked up = 9.2.0.5 version and for what they are doing it works. Is there a way I = can do this without blowing everything away? Like modifying an = installer file somewhere?
Thanks,
Paula

No, Standard Edition can be 64-bit.

Keith,
Are you sure it's a standard edition install? I was under the impression that the standard edition only came in 32bit versions. But my info may be old or only applicable to Solaris....
