Oh, well, I started with version 4. I still remember some things about oralink (predecessor of SQL*Net), SQL*QMX, SQL*Graph, SQL*Calc, SQLPME, before image journaling, ODT, IOR and alike, but it's increasingly melting into a blur. Add things from V6 like OWA and PL/SQL v1.0, with Forms 3.0 and INP/FMX files, SQL*Net v1 (starting and tracing orasrv, with tcpctl). Then there was SQLDBA, with "mon rollback" command, tracefmt utility instead of tkprof, Anjo Kolk's wait event description, which was a huge pile of paper that I used to have in a binder on my desk, and many, many other things. It has been a long time, and my memory is not always accurate. Oracle8i is increasingly melting to the past, unimportant versions although I am aware that many places are still running it.
