The biggest problem is Network ... because disk is shared, interconnects, public networks
everything is usign your network. Those latencies will stand out everywhere if the physical spread
is too big. But if you must cpread them out geographically, time to change the format masks for
all the numbers in the statspack report is about now.
Like Tom says, not that it can't be done, anything can be done, but the questino is how effective
it will be? In a few years it might be possible with ipv6 and internet2 capabilities ... it may
very well be possible.
