GBA,

  1. Install gvim for windows. <GBA> Done.
  2. Then in sql*plus: define _editor=<path to gvim>
  3. You can put the command from 2) in the glogin.sql file (%ORACLE_HOME%\sqlplus\admin\glogin.sql), so you do not have to write this every time you start sql*plus. <GBA> Done. <GBA> The only problem i have is when i finish a query i type :wq to get back to sql*plus <GBA> if I do press / an then ENTER, sql*plus executes the first query i had in memory, <GBA> not the one i modified. I have to type get afiedt.buf and then / + ENTER to execute <GBA> the modified query. How can i do to make it work just like with notepad??
