Michael,
Could you explain to me how the NFS is a security risk.
Server A allows server B to nfs mount to a particular mount point.
Server B can not ramble through out server A.
Unless the mount point on server A is / and then I can see where this
is a problem. But if both of the servers are internal and secure what is
the problem. I quess that there is a power struggle that has to be
understood or over come to allow you to perform your work efficiently.

Ron, thanks for your prompt reply.
Your solution suggests using NFS. This is NOT AN OPTION. NFS is considered a network SECURITY risk. It appears as though you misunderstood and thought it was a reliability problem.
