Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: statspack and OS stats
Although I haven't spent a lot of time with it myself, I would take a
look at grid control. I'm not sure what type of reporting it provides
off the statspack schema but I know that it utilizes the statspack
information in 9i (probably 8i) database and offers suggestions.
...i believe that would be considered a 'central repository' as you go to the same initial url to access the information.
Just a thought

In the case mentioned, STATSPACK is not leveraged. The PERFSTAT schema,
however, is used to contain the tables where OS stats may be loaded.
UNIX
Ksh Scripts collect and load this information... I believe Craig
Shallahammer (OraPub.com) has some scripts/notes on this.

A simple export/import or CTAS over Dblinks of Statspack data to a
central
repository may well do this job.=20
