I believe it's:
9i Release 1 = 9.0
9i Release 2 = 9.2  

Which is why I refuse to use the silly nomenclature "8i", "9i", "10G". Everyone gets confused. It's 8.0, 8.1, 9.0, 9.2 or 10.1.
