INTERMEDIA INDEX

hi,
I want to create normal index on CLOB object.I'm able to create intermedia indexes on that column easily but when I'm trying to create as normal it shows error "ORA-2327".

ORA-02327: cannot create index on expression with datatype LOB Any idea?
