The docs are pretty good about logminer, the catch is with 8i, migrated/chained(as well as a host of other reasons) will show up as internal and you wont be able to see/recover those txs.

 We are trying to find out lost transactions from redo logs. Could any  one please share LogMiner scripts with me? We are in Oracle 8.1.7.4  and Sun Solaris. Thanks.
