They are slimmer now compared to what they used to be, but there are also many vultures out there. As opportunities open up and the economy improves, these vultures still want to paint the bleakest of pictures and generate as much margin as they can.

Many long time companies and "good" plcement folks have been replaced by the pimps o the day and their methods.

I have worked for consulting companies, I have been independant and I know folks running firms tat are decent and I have encountered the vultures.

For many this is'nt an issue, but for those out of work and getting desperate...they are in a corner and don't have many options a lot of times.
