Why? That's a varchar2 column... it doesn't contain trailing spaces.

If I were you, Y would use rtrim(table_name) and I would use the "set linesize n" where n is the length of the line. regards

I want to create script in single line
like
select 'create snapshot dev.'||table_name||' '|| 2 'using index tablespace INDX refresh fast with rowid start with sysdate next sysdate + 7 as (select * from dev.' 3 ||table_name||'@testone);' from dba_tables 4* where owner='DEV' and table_name like 'CON_%'

I'm getting this script after spooling above query.I want output of above query in single line.
What SQLPLUS parameters I need to setup? thx -seema
