Helmut,
I've looked at both mags (they seem to like to send free issues about once a year with a request for money). I am rather unimpressed. You will find better information on various websites and through user group publications. One thing I like about user group magazines is that the compensation for the authors is minimal, so they write for the love of writing and sharing their knowledge and not because they are getting paid for it. It is a lot like this list, those who are solely interested in compensation are not contributors, but those who consider knowledge sharing a personal/professional responsibility will contribute. I would personally trust the person who is motivated by a sense of personal obligation than one who is motivated by a 'cents' of financial obligation.
