Oracle8i Internals - Steve Adams
Mastering Oracle PL/SQL; Practical Solutions - Connor McDonald, et al
non-Oracle:
The Stevens book you mentioned is excellent
Also, if you're on Solaris the following is a must-have:

Here are a few I like a lot:
-Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment - W. Richard Stevens (not
Oracle but such a great book)
-Oracle SQL High Performance Tuning - Guy Harrison
-Expert Oracle 9i Database Administration - Sam Alapati
-Oracle PL/SQL Tips and Techniques - Joe Trezzo
-Expert One On One Oracle - Tom Kyte
-Relational Database Writings (all) - C.J. Date
I am interested in other opinions/favorite books. I'm sure we've all wasted plenty of money on less useful books. I know this differs for each person, but seeing trends can be very helpful.
Thanks,
Mike

Please don't, it's nothing but trouble.
If you want to talk about useful books, go ahead.
If you want to talk about useless ones, please do so somewhere else.
Thanks,
Jared
