There is a very good paper by James F. Koopmann in Exploring Oracle =
magazine Nov 2003 issue. There is also a good Metal link paper =
NOTE:224255.1
I want to implement Oracle Streams as well. Currently I have basic =
replication for my reporting database. I want to use Oracle Streams. =
It is getting to be painful to rebuild a snapshot which is 8 GB in size, =
just because they added a column on the online table. I am curious =
about others experiences too.

Subject: Oracle 9i Streams - Pro's & Con's
L&G,
I am looking for +'s and -'s of 9i stream replication based on personal
experience. Any white papers, URL, book references, etc. (outside OTN, =
since
it'd be a biased opinion) will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
