I have a procedure that creates 10 batch files splitting up the tables into
these files
So that you can export/import in parallel. Just let me know if you'd like it

We're also going to migrate from 8.1.7 to 9.2.0. It is our PeopleSoft production database. They still don't support 10g. We want to kill two birds in one shot...

Wait... I seem to remember something about RMAN and 10g allowing you to
do this... Can't you do this in 10g?
