If you can wait, upgrade to 10g and then move databases across = platforms. I do not know what your project dead lines are.... If you are below 10g, export and import is the only way you can move = across platforms. We wanted to move from Sun to AIX and backed off due = to the downtime involved in export and import.

Try multiple exp/imp sessions based on owner. For large tables I'd =3D
probably export the structure to a sql script and then use copy to move =
=3D
the data. Building indexes afterwards.

Has any of you moved a 250+ database from SUN into HPUX? I have a
window of 36 hours to do this. I'm planning to divide the database into
multiple imports/exports and multi-tasks them.
