This is in production... and we transport large tablespaces daily. Can you believe this? We will have serious interruptions in service.

Ryan,

Your Service Request has been reassinged to the High Availability group. You are hitting bug 3601253.

It is not possible to deliver a one off patch for this issue. The problem is, that to be able to fix this bug we need a change in the SGA. Changing the layout of the SGA cannot be done in an one off, because every bit of code that accesses the sga would need to be recompiled and shipped. That would involve most of the object files in the database.

There is not other option than to apply the next patchset. The fix will be available in the next patch release which is 9.2.0.6.

The 9.2.0.6 patchset is scheduled to be available around september.

Please close this SR if the information mentioned above is sufficient. Please update this SR with additional information if it is not.

Thanks,
Henry
