It's rather simple if your in need of multiple versions, which is true =
for 99.9% of us. In our shop ORACLE_BASE is always /ora1. ORACLE_HOME =
would then be /ora1/81764 (Oracle 817, 64 bit) or /ora1/92 (Oracle =
version 9.2). Both homes can coexist on the same server without =
conflicts.
