Pete Finnigan has a few excellent papers http://www.petefinnigan.com .
Oracle provides a "unsupported" script that moves the audit table into another tablespace on Metalink. My understanding is that a fair number of DBA's use this script in production and nothing catches on fire, but it's still technically unsupported.

Subject: Oracle Auditing
Our Auditors want us to turn on auditing in all production databases.
=3D20 They would like us to audit failed logon attempts, DML activity, =
and
use of DBA privileges.
Does anyone have a good paper or link that shows the basic steps of setting up auditing, specifying the parameters, etc...
Also, is there a way to move the audit table to it's own tablespace in 7.3.4, 8.1.7, 9?.
Thanks!
Ron
