cursor_sharing =3D similar did not like our use of PIPELINE functions in 9.2.

  oracle9.2 ,JDBC always has bugs.

  in version 9.2 , if you have analyze the column for=3D histograms ,then sursor_sharing =3D3D force may generate bad excution plan . though oracle 9.2 has "Peeking of User-Defined=3D  Bind Variables " new feature may cause more problems .

if sursor_sharing =3D3D similar , and has the columns histograms ,=3D then there is always hard parse .
do a test ,query the v$sysstat ,the hard parse increment=3D  and the v$sql_plan has a new one
