Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Sbtio.log - can we purge it?
Syed,
The answer is yes. I purge my files on a regular basis. I actually rename them with a date in the file name and delete them after 30 days.

Subject: Sbtio.log - can we purge it?
Hi All,
We are using HPUX omniback to take our oracle backups. I found sbtio.log is very very large and I believe no one has so far purged it. Can we purge this log file? Are there any issues related to this?
