Oracle on Opteron anyone?

Has anyone used Oracle 9iR2 on an AMD Opteron? According to MetaLink, the "supported" status is currently "projected".

The reason I'm asking is because of the new Sun Fire V20z. A starter 1-CPU 242 is about $2800 and a 2-CPU 248 is about $6800 (from memory -- VPN won't let me recheck right now). These sunny beaches look to be exceptional price/performance boxes. Maybe even a nice li'l RAC system.

TIA,
Rich
