Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> gdb not reconizing oracle binary on HP/UX
Trying to research an Oracle Alert for HP/UX:
http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_datab ase_id=NOT&p_id=241160.1
(pasting required for long link above)
We've got gdb 5.3 loaded on our HP/UX 11.11 box, but this is all I get from
"gdb ./oracle":
GNU gdb 5.3
[snip]
This GDB was configured as
"hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11"..."/usr/oracle/9.2.0/bin/oracle": not in executable
format: File format not recognized
A "file ./oracle" shows:
oracle: ELF-64 executable object file - PA-RISC 2.0 (LP64)
And "getconf KERNEL_BITS" is 64.
Google and MetaLink didn't reveal much. Anyone?
TIA,
Rich
