nls setting

Hi List,

I set nls_date_format="YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS" in the init file. However,

if I select * from nls_database_parameters . . . nls_date_format = DD-MON-RR
if I select * from nls_instance_parameters . . . nls_date_format = YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS How???
