Java SQLException using IBM Websphere

Hi,

We've recently encountered this error in a couple of instances . . .

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01004: default username feature not supported; logon denied

We're running 9i clients against a 9i database. The engineer who reported it today said it happened all of a sudden, when everything had been working properly.

Any ideas?
