I started the same way with a Biology major. I stayed and got my CS degree when the former didn't pay enough to cover my bills. :(

I was a biology major and I got the chance to work for the guy who discovered phosphate pollution - at the Great Lakes Laboratory at Buffalo. I grew up in Buffalo, though Utah is home now.

actually it was a VAX, now an alpha and it's still going. this list,
although named the same is a different beast altogether. that
one was meant
for internal to SUNY system oracle users.
