We have, in the past, used Databee's free tool successfully to load the subset into the database. Alternatively TOAD also has a little subset tool which is not that functional. But Databee with scripts is, in my opinion , the easiest way to go.

I've read about the commercial product called DataBee for doing this, but what other methods are you guys using? With all of the expertise in this list, there are bound to be some interesting solutions.
