Go ahead and try this in your production database and let us know how it goes. ;)

(I am *not* advocating that anybody do this - the only way to migrate a database to the next level is by doing it the proper way, not by installing one-off packages one at a time)

Subject: updating singly sys packages

Hi, I asked recently to Tom if I could do an extract ddl from utl_file from 9.2.4 and run in 9.2,
Because I can't run patches.

Tom obviously said NO.

But what can go wrong, except something not working.

Some experience?
