my two cents.
Something I remember now, is at least in windows, Oracle 7.x was not multihome, to migrate to Oracle 9.x to avoid some problems we found in migration tests, we prefer to ask to reinstall server and that problems dissapeared, and use a better hardware.

Oh yes, thank you Ron. I had a feeling there was something I was forgetting.I did use the same oraInventory for these. And Mladen thanks for making me laugh.
