Help getting patches from oracle without going to windows and metalink.

I used to be able to go to updates.oracle.com and ftp patches to my Unix servers. But now when I go there it can't login? Used to be that my metalink login worked. My metalink account works and I can login using my userid and password. I just don't like having to move files twice. Anyone else having problems or know of a change I'm not aware of?
