I have since found out the guy who originally quoted me about the link
specs got his numbers wrong so life will be better, we actually have a 1GB
Ethernet on a dedicated fibre so bandwidth shouldn't be an issue.
Thanks for the suggestions

If either alternative comes out with a compressed file that still won't travel nicely across the link...then its carrier pigeon time with a little tape strapped to its wing.
