Well, if you're not very particular about the exact number of rows, you may=
select from DBA_TABLES, the NUM_ROWS column (after the table is
analyzed).

Is there a quick way to count number of rows in a table? Don't want to do s= elect count(*) from..... on a table (such as GL_BALANCES) with more than 250 million rows.=20
