You don't have to do it. Installation instructions refer only to the patching of an existing, pre-8.1.7.4 dictionary to 8.1.7.4 level. If you created the dictionary from scratch, starting with 8.1.7.4 scripts, then you're OK. You've applied "no script left behind" procedure and, therefore , have nothing to fear.
