Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Undo Retention of 5 days; anyone?
5 days to flashback does seem, to put it mildly, extravagant.
Create one or two standby databases with different ages [one, say 7 days
old {just in case
the requirement goes to 7 days because "there was a weekend in between when we
forgot to run the daily data-fix script"} and one 5 days old]
