If I were you, I would create database on RH, export the database on Slowaris and import it on RH, possibly using NFS to avoid copying. No problems whatsoever.

I exported 64bit 8.1.7.1.0 database on HP-UX and imported it on RH 8.0. Flag statistic=none speeds import tremendously.
