Make sure you can run rcp, rsh and rlogin against the other nodes without password. If you can't, configure your /etc/hosts.equiv and .rhosts files to permit this. (No support for ssh.. at least not in 9.2).

Subject: HELP rac
ok so i think i've done everything but 9i install still dont recognize the "cluster" since i dont get the option to install rac, being i'm new at the rac thing, i'm sure its something stupid i've done or missed.
How does the installer determine when there is a cluster involved and prompts you to do the install of the software on one/both nodes?
thanks, joe
PS: rh9 patched kernel to 2.4.20-18.10.1, OCFS, 2.0 Ghz, 1G of ram, external Firewire drive, cluster mgr installed successfully and running on both nodes(ie:ocm).
