Isn't that why the good lord has given us procmail? A simple entry like this in your .procmailrc will do the trick:

:0
*^Subject:.*(Out of office|autoreply)
/dev/null

This entry stores all messages with either "autoreply" or "out of office" (case is ignored) into /dev/null for later reading. That may be the cause for me never seeing those pesky "out of office" messages? Who can tell?
