... and it looks like they took the pledge of 1 CD-ROM, (little) no cruft seriously.
I guess that I look somewhat foolish for insisting that the Oracle servers _required_ a DVD-ROM drive just for the server software installation.
9i R2 was 3 CDs for the base release, a fourth for the 300 MB 9.2.0.4 patchset.
... looking forward to the lin32 release (no opteron here yet for lin64).
