On 9.2 at least (might be 9.0.1 as well but that isn't in use here) each of the available template databases used by dbca comes with 3 redo logs of 100m each by default. Don't know what the default is if you don't specify a size in the create database statement (never been that daft) but that wouldn't be windows specific.
