*Description/Duties:
As a DBA you will work in a business casual environment dealing with
the latest
in ORACLE database software (Financials, Manufacturing,etc) with more
application
implementations to come in the near future.
Duties:
1) Administer all internal-facing ORACLE databases including ORACLE
Applications databases.
2) Manage the patch process to the ORACLE Applications technology
stack.
3) Support current and ongoing implementations of ORACLE Applications
and all
peripheral applications.
4) Support all custom development efforts (including reporting)
surrounding the
ORACLE Applications technology stack. 5) Support integration design, development and maintenance for all applications interfacing
or synchronizing with ORACLE Applications.
6) Administration of the production environment for high-volume,
business
critical e-commerce
consumer and business applications using ORACLE databases on
high-availability clusters.
7) Provide second-tier support to production personnel who will
escalate
during troubleshooting,
installation and implementation events.
8) Participate in production testing, backup and recovery.
9) Work closely with production staff on capacity management and
release
management.
10) Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
11) Participate in defining and documenting policies and procedures for
the
production environment.
12) Will work closely with the network services, webmasters, server
administrators
and product developers.
*U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is also required.
