Anyone look at the 10g new features? Is this one of
things Oracle is claiming they can eliminate with 10g? So you dont need this
license?

RMAN has an API and NBU has an API. The
intersection of the 2 will set
you
back about $1500 US IIRC.

I never heard about the required license from veritas and legato.
Can
someone else confirm that this is necessary? They actually charge you
more
money to do use another product with veriftas and legato?
