How to stop XDB

My networking people just notified me that XDB has port 8080 locked. Since I wasn't aware that Oracle 9.2 had an XDB running, this quite has me baffled. Is this something I can stop? Oracle has a lot of documentation on how to configure it, etc., but I don't see a thing on stopping it. Any thoughts appreciated.
