Hi Melanie,

Yup, I've checked all that. I guess that's the only option I have right now (Oracle support).
There's not much documentation for this error in Metalink, I guess they want us to go to them
directly on this one..=) But I'll do some double checking on those points that you've mentioned..
for the third time! =)
If you have other ideas please let me know..

Hi Rhojel,

I'm sure you know this, but that error message usually leads you straight to Oracle support.

Are the protocols on each box the same? Are the sqlnet.ora files the same? Or do they at least each have AUTOMATIC_IPC set to OFF?
