8.1.7 is pretty picky about syntax.
Here's what I have in my 8.1.7.4 database. (It's
Solaris, but I believe the parameter is the same)
MTS_DISPATCHERS="(address=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=atex-ent-prd1))(disp=2)"
mts_servers = 20
