Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Howto drop a corrupt database ?
Hi Tanel,
It sounds like the sort of command that i will be adding to my security audit checklists and scripts. If access to it were available to a malicious employee he could kill the database without OS access!. Is there a restriction that it can only be run locally? or when the database is not mounted?
kind regards
Pete
