Rick unless i'm missing something you need to restore ALL datafiles and
then roll forward to the point in time, since all of the SCN have to
match before you can get the db open.
the timestamp format for step 5 is:
RECOVER DATABASE UNTIL TIME '1998-11-23:12:47:30' hth, joe
