You see now how easy it is to weed out the DBAs who are strong in book knowledge and may have certifications that are not based on real world experiencee. Now, I know Mr. M is ok, so I can vouch for him personally; but, as a general rule, these are not the types of DBAs that you want to hire.

Chances are that if someone answers those questions correctly, you've got yourself a worthy DBA.
